Father's Day Weekend Forecast

A cold front will close in on the region on Saturday afternoon leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms. Father's Day looks great, but warm along with sunny skies. Then after a hot Monday the remains of a storm in the Gulf Of Mexico should make a very close pass to the coast on Tuesday. 

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Low 65. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 85. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Saturday night: Scattered showers and storms early, then clearing late. Lows in the low 60's. Wind changing to West at 15-25 MPH. 

Father's Day;  Happy Father's Day to all the Dads! Sunny with highs in the upper 80's. 

Monday; Sunny and breezy.  Hot with highs in the low 90's. 

Tuesday; Watching a Tropical System along the East Coast.  Highs in the 80's. Stay tuned! 

Forecast Update

 Another great day is in store for Thursday with sunny skies, low humidity and comfy temps. Temps will slowly rise by Friday and a front will bring scattered showers and storms by Saturday. Father's Day looks great before we watch a potential Tropical System off the East Coast early next week.

Thursday; Mostly sunny along with low humidity. High 77. West wind of 01-20 MPH. 

Thursday night: Clear with lows in the low 50's.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the mid 80's. 

Saturday: PM storms possible. Highs in the mid 80's.

 Skies will clear behind the front and nice weather will come into the area for the next few days. As temps will be comfy along with low humidity.

Saturday: Showers and storms possible. More humid with highs in the mid 80's.

Tropical Storm Bill

 Tropical Storm Bill has formed off the coast of North Carolina this evening with winds of 45 MPH. It is expected to track NE and well off the New England coast on Tuesday, as a front coming through the region will push it out to sea. Behind the front dry air will come into the area.

Tonight: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Low 60. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Tuesday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 73. South wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 50's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs around 80. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

The Week Ahead

 A front will bring scattered showers and storms over the next few days. It should clear out  for the rest of the week, but we will watch an area of low pressure system off the coast of the Carolinas that may become our next Tropical Storm.

Monday; Scattered showers and thunderstorms.  High 70. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Monday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the low 60's, 

Tuesday; Rain likely. Highs in the mid 70's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the mid 80's. 

Thursday; Watching the track of  the storm. Highs in the 70's. 

Friday ;Sunny with highs in the 70's. 

Tropics; Other than watching the cluster of storms near the Carolinas that may develop, an area of storms in the Western Gulf Of Mexico is expected to develop this week. 

Weekend Forecast

 An area of low pressure will bring showers to the area tonight and into Saturday morning. After that the weekend looks good. Sunday will be the warmer of the 2 days with temps nearing 80. More rain is possible early next week.

Saturday: Showers until 10 AM, then becoming partly sunny. High 72. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the low 50's. 

Sunday; Sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs around 80. 

Sunday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the low 60's. 

Monday; Showers and storms likely. Highs in the mid 70's. 

Partial Solar Eclipse Details

 A partial solar eclipse is going to occur in the Boston area on Thursday morning. It will be 73% of a whole eclipse. IT will start at 507 AM and end at 637 AM. The best viewing is around 533 AM. And, you want to look east with no buildings or trees in the way of the horizon And, you must wear eye protection. Finally, skies look to to be mainly clear for the event.
