Rain Update

Rain will continue to fall overnight and into the morning, but then some clearing will come into the area. And that will allow temps to rise into the 60's along with a gusty wind. Wednesday will be a bit cooler as high pressure will come back into the area. Then, warmer air will return to the Northeast.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Showers with scattered downpours. Near steady temps around 43. SE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms until 10 AM, then partly sunny. High 63. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Total rainfall of around an inch 

Tuesday night: Clearing with lows around 40.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 50's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60's.

Friday: Showers possible. Highs in the 60's.

The Week Ahead

Clouds will increase on Monday as our next storm approaches. The rain will arrive in the evening and become heavy overnight. The rain will continue into Tuesday morning before tapering off. Then Wednesday may be a bit cooler.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 38.

Monday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 55. South wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Rain showers in the evening, then heavy rain after midnight. Lows in the mid 40's. SE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Tuesday: Rain in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the low 60's. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall of 1-2 inches expected.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs around 50.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 60's .

Friday: Sunny with highs around 60.

Nice Sunday

Sunday will be a nice day with sunny skies and temps in the mid 50's. Clouds will increase on Monday as our next storm comes up the coast. Then the storm will lead to a soaking rain Monday night into Tuesday morning. And, temps will remain near to above normal on most days.

Tonight: Clear and breezy. Low 34.  West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and nice. High 57. West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Sunday night: Clear with lows in the mid 30's.

Monday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50's.

Monday night: Periods of rain. Lows in the mid 40's.

Tuesday: Rain likely early. Highs around 60.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the 50's.

Drying Out

Rain will continue to fall overnight and into Saturday morning. Then the sun will return in the afternoon and temps will rise as well. Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with sunny skies and no sea breeze. Clouds will then increase on Monday ahead of our next storm.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Periods of rain. Low 38. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday: Scattered showers until 11 AM, then partly sunny. High 60. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the mid 30's.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs around 60. West wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Sunday night: Clear with lows in the upper 30's.

Monday: Partly cloudy in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50's.

Monday night: Rain likely. Lows in the 40's.

Tuesday: Rain ending. Highs in the 50's.

Chilly Opening Day

Clouds will increase on Friday for the Sox home opener along with a chilly east wind. However, I do think the rain will hold off until the game is close to over. As the rain will arrive in the evening and last thru the night. Then, skies will clear out on Saturday and temps will rise as well. Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with sunny skies and warm temps.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 32.

Friday: Cloudy until 6 PM, then rain showers. High 43. East wind of 10-20 MPH. Temps near 42 along with cloudy skies for the game at 2 PM!

Friday night: Periods of rain. Lows in the upper 30's. East wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Saturday: Scattered showers until 8 AM, then becoming sunny. Highs in the mid 50's.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the upper 50's.

Monday: Sunny with highs in the 50's.

Another One

Thursday will be very similar to today along with sunny skies. Then the Sox home opener should stay dry with temps in the 40's but rain should arrive shortly after the game. The rain will last into Saturday morning, but the sun will return in the afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 35.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a sea breeze again. Highs around 47 in Boston and 55 inland. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the low 30's.

Friday: Mainly cloudy and chilly. Highs in the mid 40's. Temps near 45 for the Sox game at 2 PM along with a SE wind.

Friday night: Periods of rain. Lows around 40.

Saturday: Periods of rain in the morning, then partial clearing in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s'.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50's.

A Sea Breeze

A few more clouds will come into the area on Wednesday along with a sea breeze. As temps will hold in the 40's along the coast and 50's further inland. Thursday will be very similar to Wednesday and then rain is likely by Friday night.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low 32.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 47 in Boston and 55 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 30's.

Thursday: Partly sunny with highs around 50.

Friday: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 40's. Temps in the 40's along with cloudy skies for the Sox home opener !

Saturday: Rain likely in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 50's.
