Nor'easter Forecast

 A powerful nor'easter will impact the region from  Tuesday evening thru Thursday. The storm will bring rain, snow and wind. It appears to be mostly rain in the Boston area, although some snow and sleet will mix in. And the wind will be damaging as well. 

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 38. 

Tuesday; Mostly cloudy until 5 PM, then scattered rain. High 45. East wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Rain showers. Temps holding around 40. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Wednesday; Rain. Temps holding around 40. East wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Rain, snow and sleet. Lows in the mid 30's. East wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Thursday; Scattered rain, snow and sleet. Temps holding in the mid 30's. NE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH  Total rainfall of 2-3+inches. Snow may coat the ground in and around Boston. 

Friday; Mostly cloudy and windy. Highs in the mid 40's. 

Saturday;  Sunny with highs in the 40's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 50's. 

Extended; Monday is  the total solar Eclipse in parts of New England! Stay tuned for my detailed forecast over the coming days!
