A powerful storm will bring snow, rain and wind to the area on Saturday. It seems it will start as snow-even in Boston and we may get a coating before a change to heavy rain. And several inches of rain appear likely.

Saturday; Any mix changes to heavy rain. High 47. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.
Saturday night: Heavy rain. Lows in the upper 30's. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches.
Sunday; Sunny and windy. Highs around 40.
Monday: Increasing clouds and windy. Highs in the low 40's.
Tuesday Rain likely. Highs in the 40's.
