Hurricane Update

 Hurricane Lee still has winds of 80 MPH as it tracks around 150 miles east of New England on Saturday morning. That will bring some rain and strong winds to the area. The height of the storm will be late tonight into Saturday morning. And waves could be close to 30 FEET! 

Alerts; 
A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the coast-including Boston 

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the coast 

A  Coastal Flood Warning is also in effect 

Storm Details;: 

Peak Wind Gusts; 

65 MPH: Cape and Nantucket 

55 MPH: Parts of the north and south shores 

45 MPH: In Boston 

40 MPH: Inland 

Rain Totals; 

1-2 inches : Cape and Islands 

.2-.5  The Boston area 

Waves; 

40-50 FEET! : Near Center 

20-20 FEET: Near Cape and Islands 

10-20 FEET: Along the rest of the coast 

Rest of Extended forecast ;

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 50's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs around 80.

Monday; Rain likely. Highs in the 70's.
