A powerful nor'easter will hit the area Monday night through Wednesday morning. It will start as rain on Monday night but will change to heavy snow and fall very heavily through Tuesday night. And it now appears that it will bring healthy amounts of snow in the city. And the wind will gust to 60 MPH as well. The height of the storm will be Tuesday night.

Monday; Cloudy with a high of 40. NE wind of15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Monday night: Rain. Lows in the upper 30's. NE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.
Tuesday; Rain in the morning, then snow in the afternoon. Temps falling into the low 30's. NE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH.
Tuesday night: Heavy snow and damaging winds. Lows in the upper 20's. North wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH.
Wednesday; Snow tapers off in the morning, then partial clearing. Highs around freezing. Total snow amounts of 6-10 inches expected in Boston. Stay tuned for further updates on Monday!
