Storm Forecast

 A powerful long duration storm will impact the area Thursday night through Saturday morning, It will bring heavy rain, snow and strong winds to the region. It will start as rain in Boston on Thursday night and it will pour through the day on Friday and into Friday evening, But as colder air comes in behind the storm rain could change to snow even in Boston before ending. A small accumulation is possible. Plus, the wind could gust to 50 MPH at times on  Friday. 

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Clear and not as chilly. Low 28. 

Thursday; Any sun fades to cloudy skies. High 42. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday night; Cloudy in the evening, then rain late. Near steady temps around 40. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Friday; Heavy rain. Highs in the low 40's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. 

Friday night; Heavy rain in the evening, then a mix of rain and snow late. Lows in the low 30's. Wind changing to North at 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches .

Saturday; Snow possible early, then clearing. Highs in the upper 30's  Snow may amount to  a coating to an inch in the Boston area. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the upper 30's. 

Monday; Sunny with highs in the 30's.
