Storm Forecast

 A powerful storm will track to our west bringing us heavy rain and damaging winds to the area on Wednesday afternoon and evening. Rain may cause some brief urban flooding and winds will cause some power outages. By Thursday skies will clear but it will remain windy.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for all of Southern New England for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday 

Boston forecast ;

Tonight: Increasing clouds with temps near 35 early, but rising to 42 by dawn. South  wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday; Cloudy in the morning, then heavy rain in the afternoon. Windy with a high of 58. South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Wednesday night; Heavy rain until 9 PM, then gradual clearing. Windy with lows in the low 30's. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH, changing to West at 20-30 MPH with guts to 45 MPH. Total  rainfall of .5-1 inch expected. 

Thursday; Sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 40's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.

Friday; Sunny and less windy. Highs in the upper 40's. 

Saturday; Rain and wind likely again. Highs in the mid 50's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.
