Storm Update

 A storm will form off the Carolina coast and come up and hit New England with heavy rain and damaging winds tonight through Friday morning. Rain will fall heavily at times through Friday morning. And it now appears  that the height of the wind will be Friday morning-right during the commute. Flooding is also likely as many inches of rain are expected. It should clear out for the weekend. 

Alerts: 
A Flood Watch is in effect West of Boston through Noon Friday 

A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of the coast 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight; Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Muggy with a low of 60. SE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Friday; Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms until 1 PM, then mostly cloudy. Very windy with a high of 70. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts  to 50 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches. 

Friday night: Clearing with lows in the low 50's. 

Saturday; Sunny with highs around 70. 

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Monday; Rain possible. Highs in the 50's.
