Ian Update

Major Hurricane Ian slammed into SW Florida today as a Category 4 Hurricane with winds of 150 MPH at about 3 PM this afternoon. Winds gusts up to 145 MPH produced widespread damage and power outages. And severe storm surge brought dangerous coastal flooding. In addition heavy rainfall caused inland flooding. Now, the storm will come off the Florida coast and may become a Hurricane again before hitting the Carolinas. By the weekend the remains of Ian will likely bring us some rain and wind- depending on the track of the storm.
