The heat and humidity continue to build over the next couple of days. On Wednesday temps should reach the mid 90's along with high humidity. By Thursday a front will approach the area bringing showers and severe storms. But, heat index values will be over 100 before it arrives. And air temps this weekend could touch 100 in some spots!

Boston forecast;
Tonight: Clear and stuffy. Low 73.
Wednesday; Mostly sunny and humid. High 95. West wind of 10-20 MPH.
Wednesday night: Clear with lows in the mid 70's.
Thursday; Sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 90's. Heat index values as high as 102 in the afternoon.
Friday; Sunny with highs in the mid 90's, but becoming less humid.
Saturday; Sunny with highs around 100!
Sunday; Showers possible. Highs near 100 again!
World Weather: London, England topped 40 Celsius-about 104 Fahrenheit -for the first time on Tuesday. That caused part of the runway at the airport to melt. And temps all over Western Europe smashed all time records also.
