A strong cold front will bring showers and storms Monday afternoon and evening. However, it now appears that the storms will weaken before reaching the Boston area. Behind the front cooler and refreshing air will come into New England.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Still muggy with a low of 60.
Monday; Partly sunny until 5 PM, then scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 83. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Monday night; Showers with scattered severe thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50's. Some storms may bring hail and strong winds.
Tuesday; Sunny and less humid. Highs in the low 70's.
Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the mid 70's.
Thursday; Sunny with highs in the 70's.
Friday ;Sunny with highs in the 80's.
