Weekend Forecast

 Friday will be a wild day with  high winds, some precip and falling temps as a powerful storm grazes the  region. Behind the storm arctic air will be sent into New  England for Friday night and Saturday. Dangerous wind chills are likely. Then a major storm will impact the area with heavy rain, snow and strong winds. Stay tuned for more details over the weekend.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the Cape and Islands for Friday

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Boston area for Friday. 

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the Boston area for Saturday morning

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for Northern and Western New England where wind chills could be 50 BELOW in some areas!

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 32. 

Friday; Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and snow showers with no accumulation. Windy with a high of 40, but falling to 30 by 5 PM. North wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. 

Friday night: Clearing and frigid. Windy with lows around 3 ABOVE. North wind of 20-30 MPH with  gusts to 50 MPH.  Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW late. 

Saturday; Sunny and very cold. Windy with highs around 15. North wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.  Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW before 10 AM. 

Saturday night: Clear and still very cold. Lows around 5 ABOVE. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the mid 20's. 

Sunday night: Snow and wind probable. Lows in the low 20's. Stay tuned! 

Monday; Any snow likely changes to rain in and around Boston . High winds with highs around 40. Check in for more updates over the weekend!
