It now appears that the storm we have been tracking for the past few days will dissipate before it gets here. That will lead only to patchy light snow and flurries that may coat the ground. By midweek temps should warm enough for a rainstorm by Thursday.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Areas of light snow and flurries. Low 32. NE wind of 10-15 MPH.
Monday: Areas of light snow and flurries in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 38. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.
Monday night: Clear with lows in the mid 20's.
Tuesday; Sunny with highs around 40.
Wednesday; Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40's.
Thursday: Rain and wind possible. Highs in the 50's.
Friday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.
