Clouds will increase on Friday ahead of our next storm. Rain will arrive around sunset and continue for several hours. However, as record cold comes into the area rain will change to snow. A coating or so is possible in the Boston area.

Friday night: Rain early, then a mix of snow and rain late. Lows in the mid 30's. North wind of 15-25 MPH.
Saturday; Scattered rain and snow showers. Cold and windy with highs in the mid 40's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Snow may coat the ground in some areas.
Saturday night: Clearing and record cold. Frost likely with lows in the mid 30's.
Mother's Day; Sunny with highs in the mid 50's. Happy Mother;s day to all the moms.
Monday; Showers possible. Highs in the mid 50's.
