Major Hurricane Florence now has winds of 140 MPH SE of Bermuda. It is expected to track west or NW and make landfall as a powerful Category 4 Hurricane along with Carolina coastline on Thursday evening. Here in New England the only impacts appears to be rough surf and rip currents late this week.

Tonight: Rain. Low 60. East wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
Tuesday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers in the morning, then partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with a high of 80. South wind of 10-20 MPH.
Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows in the low 60's.
Wednesday; Scattered showers continue. Highs in the mid 70's.
Thursday; Hurricane Florence makes landfall near the Carolinas. Sunny with highs in the 70's here in Boston.
Friday; Sunny with highs in the 80's.
