Weekend Update

Saturday will be hot and humid day before a cold front brings scattered showers and storms late in the day. Behind the front Sunday will be much cooler along with showers. The holiday itself looks mainly dry.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 68.

Saturday;  Mostly sunny in the morning, then partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Humid with a high of 90. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Scattered showers, mist and drizzle. Lows in the mid 50's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Sunday; Showers, mist and drizzle. Temps holding in the mid 50's.

Memorial Day; Mostly cloudy with highs in the low 60's.

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the 80's.

Special Tropics Update: Sub  Tropical Storm Alberto formed on Friday with winds of 40 MPH. It will threaten the Gulf Coast by Monday.
