Nor'easter Forecast

A powerful nor'easter will hit the area on Wednesday. It will bring a mix of heavy rain, snow and wind. Boston appears to be right on the line between rain and snow making snow totals a difficult forecast. But, I am expecting at least a few inches in the city Wednesday afternoon and evening.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect inside 128

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the coast

A Flood Watch is in effect for Boston and points south

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for parts of the coast

Boston forecast:

Tonight; Mostly cloudy with a low of 32.

Wednesday: Scattered snow in the morning, then a mix of rain and snow in the afternoon. High 35. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Wednesday night: A mix of snow and rain. Lows in the low 30's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total snow amounts of 2-4 inches in Boston. 

Thursday: Cloudy with a passing rain or snow shower. Highs in the upper 30's.

Friday; More precip possible. Highs in the upper 30's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the low 40's.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 40's.
