Nor'easter Forecast

Clouds will increase on Thursday ahead of our nor'easter. The rain will arrive by Friday morning and continue through the morning, It now appears that the rain will change to snow before ending. Also wind will be damaging-especially along the coast.

A High Wind Watch is in effect for all of the Boston area for Friday

A Flood Watch is in effect for all of MA

A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for the coast

Boston forecast:

Tonight; Mostly cloudy with a passing rain shower. Low 40.

Thursday; Partly to mostly sunny with a high of 53. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Rain arriving late. Lows around 40.NE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Friday; Heavy rain in the morning, then rain possibly changing to snow by late in the day. Temps falling into the low 30's late. NE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches 

Friday night: Rain and snow ending. Lows around 30.North wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. Total snow amounts of 1-3 inches in Boston. Stay tuned!

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with highs around 40.

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.
