Cold Friday

A arctic cold front will cross the area Friday morning with a risk of a rain shower. Behind the front it will turn much colder and be windy. Record cold is likely Friday night as temps fall to near 20. It will remain cold over the weekend.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a passing  rain shower. Low 37. SW wind of 10-20 MPH with  gusts to 30 MPH.

Friday; Mostly sunny and windy. Temps near 38 in the morning will fall to 30 by 4 PM. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.

Friday night: Clear with record cold. Lows around 20. The record to beat is 23.

Saturday; Mostly sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 30's .

Sunday: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 40's.

Monday; Some precip possible. Highs around 40.
