The Week Ahead

A strong cold front will cross the area over the next few days. However, most of the storms on Monday appears to fall west of the Boston area. But by Monday night heavy rains will come into the area that will last into Tuesday. Behind the front comfy air will come into New England.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Central and Western MA. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 70. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Monday: A mix of sun and clouds. High 85. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Monday night: Scattered severe storms. Lows around 70. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Some storms may produce damaging winds and hail.

Tuesday: Showers likely. Highs in the low 80's.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a shower possible. Highs in the 80's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.

Friday; Showers possible. Highs in the 80's.

Tropics;  TS Bret is expected to form near the Windward islands on Monday and bring them rains and gusty winds.
