Forecast Update

A series of storms will make a close pass to the area over the next few days. On Wednesday it looks like most of the rain will fall on the Cape and Islands. However, on Thursday a storm will come close enough to bring widespread rain. The long weekend looks iffy at this point.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers late. Low 55.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 63. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Cloudy with lows in the mid 50's.

Thursday: Rain likely. Highs in the 60's.

Friday: Showers likely. Highs around 60.

Saturday: Clearing with highs in the 60's.

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 60's.

Memorial Day: Mostly cloudy with highs in the 60's.
