Flood Watch

Low clouds will hang tough on Wednesday as the wind stays off the water. Then a powerful storm will hit the area on Thursday afternoon with heavy rain and strong winds. More showers are possible by Friday.

A Flood Watch is in effect for all of MA for Thursday afternoon.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Low clouds and fog with rain showers. Near steady temps around 38. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle. High 43. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Cloudy with lows in  the upper 30's.

Thursday: Heavy PM rain. Highs in the low 40's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Thursday night: Heavy rain continues.Temps holding in the low 40's.

Friday: Scattered showers. Highs around 50.

Saturday: Partly sunny with highs in the 50's.

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 50's.
