Storm Forecast

A storm will bring mainly rain to the Boston area on Tuesday. It will start as snow around 8 AM and last a few hours. It will change to rain by late morning and the rain will last through the afternoon. Temps by Wednesday will reach the 50's before more snow is likely by Thursday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect west of Boston.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with near steady temps around 32.

Tuesday: Snow until 11AM, then rain. High 40. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. Snow amounts of a coating-1 inch likely. 

Tuesday night; Periods of rain. Temps holding in the mid 30's.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. Highs in the mid 50's.

Thursday: Snow likely. Highs around 30. Stay tuned!

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 20's.
