Wind Chill Warning

A frigid weekend is ahead as the coldest air in years comes into the northeast. An arctic front may bring a snow squall in the morning before clearing in the afternoon. Temps will start near 20 before falling into the single digits along with a gusty wind. Temps Saturday night will drop well below 0 and it will stay windy. And temps will struggle to reach 10 on Sunday.

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for the Boston area for Saturday night.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Cloudy with a passing snow shower. Low 15.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a scattered snow squall in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon. Temps near 20 in the morning will fall to 8 above by 5 PM. NW wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Saturday night: Clear with record cold. Lows around 5 BELOW. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 30 BELOW!

Sunday: Sunny and frigid. Highs around 10. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 30 BELOW in the morning.

Monday: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 20's.

Tuesday: A storm likely. Highs in the 40's. Stay tuned!
