It now appears that the storm has come closer to the area and that will lead to a few inches of snow in the Boston area. Snow has arrived this evening and will continue overnight and into Monday morning. Behind the storm wind and cold will come into New England and will last most of the week.

Tonight: Snow. Low 25. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.
MLK Day: Snow showers until 9 AM, then becoming mostly sunny. Near steady temps around 27. Total snow amounts of 2-4 inches. NW wind increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Monday night: Clear and windy. Very cold with lows around 15. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.
Tuesday: Sunny and windy. Highs in the low 20's. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 30's.
Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 20's.
Friday: Some sun with highs in the 20's.
