Icy Spots

Snow changed to rain today, but as temps fell any water left standing froze. Now clouds will hold on Wednesday along with some patchy freezing drizzle early. Then another front will bring scattered showers late. New Year's Eve should by dry and chilly.

Boston forecast;

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with patchy freezing drizzle. Near steady temps around 25. North wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday: Areas of freezing drizzle in the morning, then cloudy in the afternoon. High 38. North wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Scattered rain showers. Lows in the upper 30's.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

New Year's Eve: Clear with temps in the mid 30's in the evening. Stay tuned for my First Night Timeline!

New Year's Day: Sunny with highs in the low 40's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the 30's.

Sunday:  A snow shower possible. Highs in the 30's.
