Hurricane Track Update

The latest track of Hurricane Joaquin has shifted offshore. And that track is now likely, limiting any impacts to the east coast or New England. However, it is still a powerful Hurricane and any jogs in the track could still make a difference. Over the next few days it will be wet and windy before some drying behind Joaquin.

Alert:

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the coast.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for other parts of the coast.

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Periods of rain and windy. Near steady temps around 50. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Saturday: Scattered showers, mist and drizzle. Near steady temps around 50. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Saturday night: Scattered showers and still windy. Lows in the upper 40's.

Sunday: Cloudy with highs in the upper 50's.

Monday: Cloudy as Joaquin tracks close but probably offshore. Highs in the low 60's.

Tuesday: Some clearing possible. Highs in the 60's.
