It now appears that an area of low pressure will make a close pass to the area on the 4th of July. However, just an passing shower is likely in the Boston area. As the better chance for rain will be on the Cape and Islands in the afternoon. It will dry out for Sunday and temps will rise into the 80's. It will remain warm and dry into early next week.

Tonight: Clear with a low of 60.
4th Of July: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds with a passing shower in the afternoon. High 73. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Saturday night: Any showers end by 8 PM, then clearing. Evening temps in the 60's will fall into the 50's late. Should be dry for any fireworks after dark.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.
Monday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with a passing shower late. Highs in the 80's.
