Severe Storms Possible

A warm front will cross the area in the morning leading to showers and scattered severe thunderstorms. And then a secondary front will come through in the early afternoon with more severe weather possible. Behind the front clearing skies will come into New England. And at this early stage the long holiday weekend looks good.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 63.

Wednesday: Showers with scattered severe thunderstorms until 2 PM, then partly sunny with scattered thunderstorms. High 77. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. Some storms will produce damaging winds, frequent lightning and hail.

Wednesday: Partial clearing with lows in the mid 60's.

Thursday; Partly sunny with highs around 80.

Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 80's.

4th Of July: Sunny with highs in the 70's .

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 70's.
