Subtropical Storm Ana has formed late this evening off the coast of South Carolina with winds of 45 MPH.. A subtropical storm is a mix between a coastal storm and a tropical system. It is expected to become fully tropical in the next day or so and possibly gain strength before making landfall in the Carolinas this weekend. Here in Boston a cold front will come down from the north and temps will fall on Friday afternoon. It should warm up again for the weekend.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clear with a low of 58.
Friday: Mostly sunny with temps near 65 in the morning will fall to 55 by 6 PM. Wind changing to NE at 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
Friday night: Areas of clouds and fog. Lows in the low 50's.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 60's.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.
Monday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.
Tuesday: Watching what is left of Ana. Highs in the 70's. Stay tuned!
