It now appears that an area of low pressure will develop too far east to give heavy snow to the area tonight. On Saturday the sun will return, but it will be very cold and windy. Sunday will also be cold and will be dry for any Super Bowl parties. Then another major storm could the area on Monday.

Tonight: Scattered snow showers. Frigid and windy with a low of 10. NW wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.
Saturday: Any snow showers end, then becoming mostly sunny. High 18. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW before 10 AM.
Saturday night: Clear with lows in the single numbers. NW wind gusting to 40 MPH.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs around 20.
