A strong storm system will come right into New England on Monday leading to rain and wind in the Boston area. And as the warm front comes through temps will jump into the 50's. But, behind the storm temps will fall back into the 30's for the mid week along with a gusty wind.

A Wind Advisory is in effect south of Boston.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect NW of Worcester. A small accumulation of ice and snow is expected there.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Cloudy with rain arriving late. Low 38. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.
Monday: Periods of rain. High 55. SW wind increasing to 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Monday night: Rain in the evening, then partial clearing late. Lows in the mid 30's. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH in the evening, changing to west at 15-25 MPH late.
Tuesday: Clearing and windy. Highs in the upper 30's. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 30's.
Thursday: Sunny with highs around 40.
Friday: Sunny with highs in the low 30's.
