The Front Arrives

Low clouds and fog will come into the area overnight and into Wednesday morning. Then an arctic front will cross the area on Wednesday evening with a few showers possible. Behind the front temps will hold in the 40's on Thursday. And then a weak system may give us some rain and snow showers late on Thursday night into Friday morning.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the Boston area until 9 AM Wednesday

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds with low clouds and fog. Low 47.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with fog, scattered showers, mist and drizzle. High 62. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clearing and colder. Lows in the upper 30's. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and cooler. Highs in the upper 40's.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and snow showers. Lows in the low 30's.

Friday: Partly sunny with a passing rain or snow shower in the morning. Highs around 40.

Saturday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 30's.

Sunday: A storm possible. Highs in the 30's. Stay tuned!
