A powerful front along with an area of low pressure will cross the area on Thursday leading to gusty downpours. The front will cross the area on Thursday night and will help push major Hurricane Gonzalo out to sea and towards Atlantic Canada over the weekend. Here in the Boston area colder air will gradually come into the area by the end of the weekend.

Friday: Increasing sun and warm. Less humid with highs in the low 70's .
Saturday: A shower possible late. Highs in the mid 60's .
Sunday: Sunny and much cooler. Highs in the low 50's.
