The Week Ahead

Cooler air will dominate the weather early this week as high pressure to the north moves in. On Tuesday and area of low pressure will move close to the coast leading to more clouds. But, the rain should stay offshore. Rain is possible by late in the week as a front comes into the area.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 57.

Monday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs near 68 in Boston and 73 inland. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 50's.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60's.

Wednesday: Cloudy with highs in the low 70's.

Thursday: Showers possible. Highs in the 70's.

Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the 70's.

Tropics:  Watching a cluster of storms near the coast of Africa that may develop over the next few days.
