Tropical Storm Arthur

Tropical storm Arthur has formed and has winds of 50 MPH as of the 11PM advisory. It is expected to become a hurricane as it comes up the east coast. First it will make a close pass to the coast of North Carolina as a strengthening Hurricane on Thursday. Then it will turn NE and make a close pass to Nantucket on Friday as a Hurricane. Stay tuned for more track updates as just a slight shift in the track will have a big difference on the forecast.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy and muggy. Low 72. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday; Hazy, hot and humid with a passing shower or thunderstorm. High 90. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Partly to mostly cloudy with lows around 70.

Thursday: Showers with thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 80's.

4th of July: Tropical Storm or Hurricane Arthur makes a close pass to the area. Stay tuned!

Saturday: Drying out with highs around 80.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 80's.
