A storm will make a close pass to the area overnight and hit the Cape and Islands with a couple inches of snow. In Boston some light snow is possible, but it won't amount to much.  The sun will come out on Wednesday and temps will hold in the 20's. However, by Thursday highs will reach closer to 30.

Tonight: Cloudy with light snow late. Low 13. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Total snow amounts of a coating-1 inch in Boston.

Wednesday: Any light snow ends by 8 AM, then increasing sunshine. High 25. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clear and still cold. Lows around 10.

Thursday: Sunny with highs around 30.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a few flakes possible. Highs in the mid 30's.

Saturday: Some precip likely late. Highs in the 30's.

Sunday: More precip likely. Highs near 40.
