Storm This Weekend

Friday will be another cold and windy day. Then a storm will come up the coast and hit us over the weekend. The steady snow should hold off until Saturday evening, but some light snow is possible earlier. And, a change to sleet or even rain is possible in Boston overnight as warmer air comes in off the water.  But, where it stays all snow several inches are likely.

Boston forecast:

Tonight; Clear and very cold. Lows near 18 in Boston and 10 in the suburbs.

Friday: Mostly sunny and windy. High 28. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Friday night: Increasing clouds with lows around 13.

Saturday: Scattered snow until 4 PM, then snow. Highs in the upper 20's.

Saturday night: Periods of snow-but may change to rain or sleet in Boston late. Temps rising to the low 30's. Stay tuned for my timeline on Friday!

Sunday: Any mix changes back to snow before ending. Temps falling into the 20's. Total snow amounts of 3-6 inches in Boston with more to the NW.
