A weak system may give some snow flurries or snow showers in the afternoon on Tuesday. Then skies will clear out for New Year's Eve but it will be cold. Wednesday will be cold and clouds will increase. After that it looks like a major nor'easter will hit the area with heavy snows and strong winds likely. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer.
