Weekend Forecast

A front will come into the area on Friday with some rain showers. On Saturday it should clear out and temps will rise into the 40's. Then a powerful cold front will cross the area on Saturday night with some snow showers possible into Sunday. And temps on Sunday may not reach freezing along with a strong wind.

Boston forecast:

Tonight; Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers late. Low 38. SW wind of 10-15 MPH.

Friday: Scattered rain showers until 2 PM, then cloudy. High 47. SW wind of 10-15 MPH.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with lows around 40.

Saturday: Sunny and breezy. Highs in the mid 40's. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Saturday night: Scattered snow showers possible. Cold and windy with lows around 20. NW wind gusting to 40 MPH.

Sunday: Scattered snow showers possible. Cold with highs around 30. NW wind gusting past 40 MPH.

Monday: Sunny with highs in the upper 30's
