The Week Ahead

Monday will be a great September day with sunny skies and temps near 70. Then, a warm front will come thru on Tuesday sending temps into the 90's on Wednesday. Then, another cold front will come into the area on Thursday.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for parts of Northern and Western New England for Sunday night.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and chilly. Lows near 52 in Boston, 49 in JP and 40 in the suburbs. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH, decreasing to 10-15 MPH late.

Monday: Sunny with a high of 70. SW wind of 10-20 MPH,

Monday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the mid 50's

Tuesday; Mostly cloudy with a shower possible. Highs in the mid 80's,

Wednesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Highs in the low 90's!

Thursday: PM storms likely. Highs in the mid 80's

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 70s.

Tropics; TD 9 formed off the coast of Africa and is expected to intensify over the next few days.
