Severe Storms

Several Tornado Warnings were issued NW of Boston earlier this afternoon, and a funnel cloud was confirmed in the town of Dracut. And a confirmed Tornado touched down in CT. More severe storms are likely on Tuesday with a threat of more Tornadoes. As the front slides further to the west, there will be less of a threat of storms.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers and storms. Muggy with a low of 70.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms. Muggy with a High of 82. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. Some storms will produce damaging winds, hail and heavy rainfall.

Tuesday night: Scattered storms continue. Lows around 70.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.

4th of July: Partly sunny and hot. Highs around 90.

Friday: Hazy, hot and humid. Highs around 90.
