Rain Update

Rain will continue thru the night and into Friday morning as a storm slides south of the area overnight. On Friday afternoon some sun is likely and temps will hold in the 60's. Over the Weekend the sun will finally return along with warmer temps.

Alerts:

A Flood Warning is now in effect for some rivers expected to flood in the Boston area.

A Flood Watch is in effect for the rest of the area.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Cape and Islands.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Rain. Near steady temps near 53. NE wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Friday: Showers in the morning, then partly sunny with isolated showers in the afternoon. High 67. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total rainfall of 1-2 inches expected.

Friday night: Isolated showers early, then clearing. Lows around 50.

Saturday: Sunny and nicer. Highs in the upper 70's.

Father's Day: Happy Father's day to all the dads!  Sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs around 80.
