Some Drying

After another round of heavy rain came thru this evening, skies will remain cloudy for the rest of the night. On Wednesday clouds will hang tough in the morning, then some clearing is likely in the afternoon. Thursday will start out dry, then a powerful storm will hit the area Thursday night into Friday. More flooding rains are likely along with strong winds.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers with areas of fog, mist and drizzle. Near steady temps around 55.

Wednesday: Low clouds with fog, mist and drizzle in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 67. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Wednesday night: Some clearing likely. Lows in the low 50's.

Thursday: Increasing clouds with rain arriving late. Highs in the upper 60's.

Thursday night: Heavy rain and wind. Lows in the mid 50's. Stay tuned!

Friday: Heavy rain and strong winds continue. Highs in the upper 50's. Stay tuned!
