The Week Ahead

Monday will be another chilly day with temps in the upper 40's in Boston. Then a storm will make a close pass on Tuesday leading to some rain. Wednesday will be a nice bounce back day with temps in the 60's. Some rain is again possible by Thursday.

Alerts:

A Freeze Warning is in effect for the south coast of MA.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for the Cape and Islands.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with frost. Lows near 37 in Boston, 34 in JP and 28 in the suburbs.

Monday: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs near 47 in Boston and 53 inland. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 30's. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday:  Rain showers likely. Windy with highs in the mid 40's. NE wind of 15-25 with gusts to 35 MPH.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60's.

Thursday: Rain showers possible. Highs near 60.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 50's.
