Snow Update

Waves of snow will lead to several inches of snow overnight. Snow will start to wind down by midday on Friday, but the winds will continue to gust throughout the day. And, coastal flooding will be major during the morning high tide. Then, a nicer weekend is in store with warming temps/

Alerts:

 A Winter Storm Warning is in now in effect until 1 PM Friday for the Boston area.

A Wind Advisory is also in effect.

A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Periods of snow. Windy with near steady temps around 30. North winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH Additional snow amounts of 3-6 inches expected.

Friday: Periods of snow in the morning, then scattered snow in the afternoon. High 34. North wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Total snow amounts of 4-8 inches expected in Boston

Friday night: Gradual clearing with lows in the upper 20's. North wind of 15-25 MPH.

Saturday: Sunny and nicer. Highs in the mid 40's. Set your clocks ahead one hour before bed.

Sunday: Sunny and nice. Highs near 50.
