The Week Ahead

 A warm front will cross the area on Monday with rain showers. It may start as ice NW of Boston before changing to rain there. The rain may cause some flooding on the roads because of the melting snow. Tuesday and Wednesday will be warmer with temps reaching the 40's.  There is a threat for another ocean storm on Thursday.

Alerts:

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect NW of Boston for a bit of icing there.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds with temps near 20 tonight, but rising to 30 by dawn.

Monday: Scattered rain showers possibly mixed with sleet and freezing rain until 9 AM, then rain showers. Patchy fog with a high of 43. South wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night: Scattered rain showers in the evening, then clearing. Lows around 30.

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs around 40.

Thursday: Watching a storm. Highs in the 30's. Stay tuned!

Friday: Dry with highs in the 40's.
