Well, the height of the storm has arrived in the Boston area with reports of up to 10 inches reported in the area already. Thunder snow has also been reported and snow rates up to 4 inches per hour. Wind gusts have also reached 60 MPH on the Cape and 55 in Boston. The heaviest Snow will continue thru the night and into the first part of Saturday. Winds will slowly subside during the day, as the storm slowly pulls away. The worst coastal flooding will be at the 10 AM high tide on Saturday.

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 1 PM Saturday for the Boston area.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect NW of Worcester.
A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the coast-including Boston
A Hurricane Force Wind Warning is in effect for the ocean.
Blizzard Updated Timeline:
Now thru 9 AM: Blizzard rages. Stay off the roads. Temps fall to 23. NE wind gusting to 65 MPH.
9 AM-3 PM: Snow tapers to snow showers before ending. Temps hold in the mid 20's. Winds slowly subside.

75 MPH: Cape and islands
65 MPH: The rest of coast-including Boston
50 MPH: Further inland.

Moderate: Parts of north shore

Snow Totals:
18-24+ inches: The Boston area. Some areas may approach 30 inches!
12-18 inches: Parts of the south shore and coast.
6-12 Inches: Far NW New England
