An area of low pressure will pass well south of the area on Tuesday leading to areas of light snow from Boston and points south. It won't be too heavy in Boston, so snow amounts will be limited. On Wednesday there will be still be a threat for a snow shower, but nothing big. It will dry out for the end of the week.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 28.
Tuesday: Cloudy until 9 AM, then light snow. High 36, but falling to 32 by 4 PM. SE wind of 10-15 MPH. Snow may coat the ground in some areas.
Tuesday night: Scattered snow showers in the evening, then remaining cloudy. Lows around 30.
Wednesday: Partly sunny with a snow shower possible in the morning. Highs around 40.
Thursday: Sunny with highs in the low 40's.
Friday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the 30's.
